Join a Fantasy Art Study Group!

We will cover one, two, and three-point perspective. How to find the horizon lines when you draw on location or how to find it on areference photo. We will do assignments that will show how you can use perspective drawing in a creative way to improve your fantasyart. This is basic knowledge if you want to do fantasy art, because especially with this kind of art you will need to work out what thingslook like when seen from all sorts of angles. Sign up

Join a Fantasy Art Study Group. This spring we are working with figure drawing. We use the public domain E-book Figure Drawing For All It's Worth, that you can download for free. The idea is that you should be able to learn to draw the human figure in your own home. The study groups are free to join!  Sign up

  1. Hey Marianne! =)

Really like your latest works, shows just how much you have improved between like 2 posts.. wow.. your face is pretty amazing imho.. =)

Just a little note, when you click to get a bigger version on your post, it gives a small thumb, I think the blogger resized your very large version..
Maybe upload like a 1024 x 800 or some resolution like that and it should work, I also had problems like that.. Hope that helps =)

Sorry for the wall of text.. =)

    Have a great week! =)

  2. Thanks Edward. There have been some loading problems since I had the new URL. I think it should be solved in a few days.

I only uploaded a small version of the mermaid. I need to make a proper scan, but I wanted to finish painting the hair before I do the scan.
