The portraits are all quick sketches. I did them in 5-10 min. The idea is to develop a sketch book gallery of male portraits that I can use in my painting whenever I need a new face.
Some portrait was done on-location others are done from my imagination to see how well I can manage to draw a male portrait and keep the proportions right.

ReplyDeletei definitely get the difficulty of drawing male faces, i suck at it, but think youve got the right idea - practice practice practice!
i think my favorite has to be the blonde guy second down! cant wait to see how you incorporate this into a painting later ^^
